Photography is an art form that we all can relate to. It is an art form that we all relate with, and interact with daily. We do this through snapping on our phones, cameras, and any other gadget that has a lens. For this reason, I wanted to share 5 Best Places to Travel For Epic Photos.
1. Chamonix, France
I have written about Chamonix Mont-Blanc several times on this blog, and I’m afraid I probably won’t stop. My trip to Chamonix was special and in some way life-altering, nothing too dramatic of course. But, the sublimity and grandeur of Mont-Blanc does change a person.
Most people travel to Chamonix during the Skiing season but we went in October. There weren’t as many tourists around this time so it was the perfect time to go there. We got the opportunity to see so many awe-striking views. Seeing the turquoise lakes and taking the cable car to Aiguille du Midi was surreal.
I cannot recommend this place enough, not only will you capture epic photos. But, I can also guarantee that you will have an exceptional time.
2. Zadar, Croatia: Plitvice National Park
I recently visited Zadar in Croatia for a friend’s birthday. This beautiful city surprised me, and so it naturally makes the list of places to travel to take epic photos.
I specifically want to talk about a place two hours away from Zadar, called Plitvice Lakes National Park. The Plitvice Lakes are of exceptional beauty for those of us who love nature. It is an incredibly enchanting park with picturesque views and turquoise lakes.
There is wildlife there like bears and poisonous snakes, though rarely sighted. Aside from bears, the National Park is worth the visit and you will capture some of the best pictures you have ever taken.
3. Edinburgh, Scotland
The first place I traveled to by myself was Edinburgh in Scotland. I wanted to go to a safe place, known to have friendly locals, and of course amazingly beautiful.
Edinburgh is a real gem to visit for epic photos due to its many famous sights. The city is full of rich history, gorgeous architecture, and the world-renowned Edinburgh Castle.
If you are a Harry Potter fan, you can also visit the streets and sights that were an inspiration to Rowling as she wrote the book. Overall, my visit there was unforgettable and uniquely inspirational. Edinburgh is a must-visit place to travel for epic photos.
4.Lake Como, Italy
Lake Como is a famous destination for most travelers who go to Italy. It is a well-known place for many reasons such as the famous lake and its many gorgeous villas. If you are a Star Wars fan the famous wedding between Anakin and Padme was shot in Villa de Balbainello. There are many places to see and activities to do.
It gets really busy in Lake Como, so my top tip for you is to wake up early if you want to capture beautiful photos . Also, don’t forget to visit other villages in Como which are often overlooked. There are many places in Lake Como that are worth the shots.
5. Isle of Man
I have visited the Isle of Man several times in the past year. The Isle of Man is a British crown dependency with a rich history of its Celtic past. This island has its own language Manx Gaelic and currency.
A visit to the Isle of Man is worth it for many reasons. Firstly, there are many things to do and see on the Isle of Man. I was enthralled by this charming Island and its beautiful waters. I feel so at peace whenever I visit the Manx people.
Trust me when I assert that you will capture so many stunning photographs in the Isle of Man, from the grand mountainous views to quaint places like Cregneash Village. The Isle of Man is one of the best places to travel for epic photos, make sure to do so!
