1.Try A New Hairstyle
Suppose you have been feeling a little bored with your look lately. One thing that you can do in August is try a new hairstyle. It does not have to be a drastic transformation that you may regret.
Simply finding new ways to style your hair that are also protective could do the trick. I always feel good when my hair is done, so this is something that I will be personally doing this month. For hairstyle inspo, there are many places to get them like Pinterest, YouTube and Tik Tok.
2. Commit to Rest
It is so easy to get caught up with life’s everyday demands that you forget to rest. There are many benefits to committing to rest like enhanced mood, decreased stress, muscle repair and mental relaxation. So, give yourself some days this month to rest and relax as part of your recuperation.
3. Go Swimming or to the Beach
I absolutely love being at the beach, it is so relaxing. I always romanticise my trips to the beach. Whether I’m going for a swim or the sunset, the beach is always a good time. So, why not plan a pool or beach day with friends, family and loved ones? Make sure to bring sunscreen and other necessities.
4. Plan A Road Trip
I am a complete sucker for a road trip. I think it may be one of my favourite things to do. Whether I am doing driving or someone else, I just love the entire experience . For me, road trips are the best time to play my favourite albums and read books. I also love seeing the beautiful scenery and just appreciating nature.
5. Have an Outdoor Picnic
One of my favourite picnic ideas is when people bring colour scheme snacks and food for a picnic. I love picnics as they are an exciting way to spend time with people you love. Nothing like titillating conversations while eating chocolate-covered strawberries in the park.
O’L Takeaway
Make August your best month by doing more things that will make you happy. Be intentional about your days by making the most of them.
