Chamonix Mont-Blanc is without a shadow of doubt, one of the most beautiful places to visit in Europe. I was absolutely taken by the vastness of Mont-Blanc, picturesque landscapes and gorgeous valleys.
The sublimity of Mont-Blanc is a wonder to the eye and has always been so well captured. In this post I’ll share my photographs of Chamonix, alongside some of my favourite descriptions and portrayal of it.
1. Mont-Blanc the Supreme
The description of Mont-Blanc by Mary Shelley in her novel Frankenstein 1818, captures the grandeur of Mont-Blanc. Shelley’s description of nature was part of an artistic movement called ‘Romanticism’ that began in the western world. The use of words like ‘sublime’ to describe Mont-blanc, translated to an unfathomable power in the natural world.
“These sublime and magnificent scenes afforded me the greatest consolation that I was capable of receiving”
Victor Frankenstein in Chamonix-Mount-Blanc

5. Chamonix Final Moments
A picture is worth a thousand words. This quote comes to mind when I look at this picture. I am reminded of all the good from my trip, and the beauty that is Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
O’L Final Thoughts
