I am an outfit repeater and I’m not ashamed of it. When I love a piece of clothing, I will truly commit to it. It’s a common misconception that you should not repeat standout and trendy outfits. This is not the case for me, if I like an outfit, I will wear it over and over again.
I’m writing this blog post to ‘normalise’, (uhhh, that word!) wearing your favourite pieces of clothing repeatedly. It’s easy to fall under the pressure of buying clothes to only wear them a few times. But, I firmly believe that if you like a piece of clothing, well, tire it out.
So, let’s look at the different ways I styled the same jumper in different countries.
My Jumper in New York
The first time I wore this cute jumper which I got from BoohooMan, was for birthday trip to New York City. I wore it a few times with different outfits, which saved me from overpacking.
In Chamonix…
This was actually one of my favourite trips to date. Chamonix is such a beautiful place, and I cannot recommend visiting it enough.
I went for a more formal look this time. I love the versatility of this jumper. For me, any piece of clothing that I can wear in different ways, is my favourite thing.
In Paris
I think it’s safe to say this jumper has truly experienced it all. Yes, I most definitely had to take this cute jumper to Paris with me. My trip to Paris was exceptional, there are polarised thoughts about this city. But, I am of the opinion that Paris is in fact, THAT GIRL! I absolutely loved my trip to the city of love and I can’t wait to visit again.
I loved pairing this jumper with my long trench coat. This may be your sign to invest in a trench coat- an absolutely vital piece of clothing to have in your closet.
In Austria
My recent trip to Salzburg in Austria was memorable. I kept it simple, mainly styling my jumper with a pair of jeans, and doc martens.
My trip to Austria has made it to my all-time list of places to visit. I have many recommendations for things to do in Salzburg and other places to visit like Hallstatt.
O’L Final Thoughts
I’m an outfit repeater, and I have no intention of changing that. I hope this post has reminded you that it’s completely okay to repeat your favourite outfits as much as you want.
