Things to do in Richmond Park
Photography

Richmond Park is a natural choice for wildlife photography. Capture the mist drifting over Pen Ponds, or the London skyline from King Henry’s Mound.
The highest point in the park, with a protected view of St. Paul’s Cathedral, over 10 miles away. All we ask is that you use a long lens when photographing the deer, and stay at least 50m away. Feel free to share your images on our social media feeds.

Picnic
Richmond park, is a perfect place to bring packed lunch and relax in one of the many open spaces. Pembroke Lodge Gardens is a great spot with beautiful views to have your lovely lunch.

There are many dedicated cycling paths, and you can even rent bikes nearby which is very convenient. The Tamsin Trail is a popular circular route around the park.
Walking & Hiking
There are several scenic walks, including routes leading to King Henry’s Mound, which offer a stunning view of St. Paul’s Cathedral. I highly recommend this route if you visit the park.
Nature & Wildlife Watching :
Deers 🦌

As mentioned earlier, there are many different animals to see in Richmond park. Most people who visit the park, including me, go to the park to see some lovely deers. The park is home to over 600 red and fallow deer roaming freely. Best seen early morning or late afternoon.
Birdwatching 🦅
If you want to see some birds, the Pen Ponds is peaceful area where you can see ducks, swans, and other wildlife.
